The clients wanted a villa that is simple but safe in all aspects, it was a challenge to bring in safety and elegance at the same time, but in the end the project found its balance and turned out to be an onlookers wonder in the vicinity.
This south west facing villa needed an entrance from the north east for vastu concerns. This north east corner was bombarded by buildings of the adjoining plots with almost no light penetrating. Hence we opened up the roof on the darkest corner to bring in sunlight to the space of the entrance. The planters under the skylight adds life and movement to make it even more spiritual as we enter.
The entry living rooms opens up to a huge balcony on the west overlooking a gigantic tree outside. This adds huge volume to the living area and expands even more than what it really is.
The kitchen is carefully designed following the regular movement of the client for an un-interrupted flow and ease.
The rooms follow minimal furniture and interiors devoid of clutter and weight on the space to bring simplicity and elegance at the same time. The top floor houses a semi indoor garden and a gym to breakout from the city hustle everyday and celebrate their lasting years with their friends and family.
